BPA Online Tournaments

Boardgame Players Association "Play-by-email" Tournament Support

As part of our mission to help more people connect with more board game tournaments, the Meeple League is happy to provide support to GMs who wish to run online tournaments sanctioned by the Boardgame Players Association (BPA). You must have a BPA membership to play in these. It’s currently $10 for an “online events only” membership.

You can read more about the BPA here:  http://www.boardgamers.org/. Note that this is the same organization that runs the World Boardgaming Championships each year (in July in Seven Springs, Pennsylvania) and these events will provide laurels.

If you are a potential GM who needs a website to host your BPA event, please reach out to Randy Buehler or Rich Shay. You can read more about the guidelines for BPA PBEM tournaments here: http://www.boardgamers.org/pbem_guidelines.html The Meeple League can provide the page needed to “host” the game as well as support creating and tracking the information you will need to run the event. The Meeple League will also contact our list of on-line players with information about your event.
